Have you tried to see if another dealer can get the same or very similar spec 500 any quicker?

Not yet Paul but I really am starting (as you can probably tell) getting very annoyed.
I just had one of the sales managers call me asking for the details and he has promised to call me back before the close of play.
I did mention the "C" word to him and made my feelings very clear that this is simply not good enough.
I may depending on what he has to say go to another dealer.

I thought the salesman was going to talk to the manager, surely he would have your order number, it must be on a system somewhere? Or is this another example of only the person dealing with your order being able to track it?

Ok sales manager just called and told me they requested Wallon (hope this is the correct spelling) transport the car early last week. He did admit that someone should have chased this up when it failed to arrive, so he admits thats their fault.
He said he will ensure they are contacted tomorrow and told to get the finger out as he doesn't want to loose my sale.
Will keep updating this if I get more news.

Fiat UK called this morning and left a message (on nights so phone out of wall) to say my car will be at my dealership no later than next Friday.
Finally a result of some kind to be pleased about.

Did they tell you why it's taken so long though Brian?

I had a car land in the UK last Friday and arrive with me on Wednesday, so there can't be a backlog delaying it.
