I don't really like this sort of thing, basically you're giving them £500 to put your name on an interested list, then, later, if and when they can offer you the car, you're locked in to the car and will lose the £500.

They cannot tell you when the cars are out, they cannot tell you when you can see, let alone drive one, and in general that site is pretty vague.

I BET some people will put up the £500 purely in an attempt to sell on their spot at the front of the list.

Thank you for that information chain.
You are the first person on nf500.com
who has actually driven the 500 Abarth.

You are very fortunate chain.
FIAT 500 Abarth

The Grande Punto Abarth goes on sale in the UK this weekend
but there are no 500 Abarths for sale in the UK for several months.

ABARTH

"Get your hands on an Abarth" say Fiat, despite the fact:

you cant see one for almost a year
you cant touch one for almost a year
you cant drive one for almost a year
you wont know the price for almost a yeat
you wont know the spec for almost a year
you dont know when the car is released

So, exactly how do fiat explain the "get your hands on an abarth" slogan??

"Who do i contact If i have any questions" if the information i recieved from the dealer when i pre-ordered mine was anything to go by, ask google!!

Yep, that's why I put "Get your hands on..." in quotation marks..

Paul: if you want, you could this thread with one of the other Abarth threads.

I agree putting 500 squid down for one at this stage might not be a brilliant idea:
It wasn't necessarily the best think to do last year when the ordinary 500s came out.

Anyone want a German price list?
http://www.abarth.de/500/downloads/preisliste.pdf

Abarth germany seem to have finally come alive with info for their customers in the last few days,
which is just as well because the 500 Abarth launch in Germany Italy etc is right now, this weekend.

It's the usual though isn't it, when a car is not UK produced we do tend to wait longer, get worse service, and charged more.

I assume we get the same wheel and graphics options as they do in Continental Europe?
http://www.fiatgroupautomobilespress...708_AB_500.pdf

Someone obviously looked at all the options and came up with this rather nice red and black combo for a 500 Abarth:

An Abarth protective car cover on the one nearest the camera,
and nice wheels on the black one next to it
