How to post big pics in a thread.

I wondered if anyone can help me?

Sorry to be a pain but I wondered how people get pictures in a post to actually show up? Do you just paste it in?

And how do you make a link between photobucket account pics and your post?

I am quite good with computers but am struggling with this one.

When I go to add pics by using the attachments area they are always way too big to put on and I would have to mess on cutting them down and reducing the resolution, to the point where the pic is so poor it isn't worth seeing anymore.

I think that is I am struggling with this others mush be too. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it as I get my car next week and would love to show you guys some pics. x

There are different ways to put images in posts, to have images from other services such as Flickr or Photobucket, you need to use bbcode. There's a bit of an overview/guide in the FAQ section.

Different images hosting sites use different formats, but in the most basic form you need to use {img}http://www.awebsite.com/username/thephoto.jpg{/img} format, but replacing the curly brackets with square ones.

Try it out on this thread if you like, just for practice.
