Can I have one (cutaway style) like this please:

Yes, they can't remove you Scrogg, you are 'in the know' and 'in the trade'.
Is it true we have you all to ourselves now Mr Scrogg?

That looks a lot like a small Peugeot.

Thumbs down

This is Ford's answer to the 500
To be built on the same chassis at the same factory.

It could be a Corsa, Peugeot,Yaris or anything couldn't it..

Its one of 6 picture from Ford Europe head honchos, which was flashed quickly before delegates at a pre-Geneva Show gathering, and some clever person captured the pics on their mobile phone.

I think it's the gaping mouth thing, Ford are getting close to Pugs in that regard, as much as really like some of the new Mondeos and the Focus looks good (never thought I'd say that), I don't think the Fiesta works as well, and that (from that shaky pic) does look a lot like any other small car, especially the 107.

Cool

I had hoped to 'lure' Tom the Sexed back to Ford Ka land and myka.org for the launch of this new car.
As you now know, his computer/picture finding skills are superior to most other peoples.

I even planned a bit of bribery to get him back into the Ford fold

Not much chance of websites setting up just for this new (500 based) ka IMO, and I know Tom doesn't like the look of it either, so I reckon you are stuck with us for the next 8 months.

The new Ka.
No doubt I'll still want one and
It's nothing Ford fans can't improve with a bodykit or whatever, but that's not the point.
It was Ford's big chance to come up with a stylish futuristic alternative to the 500.
I'm not sure it has succeeded.

Backend is the Corsa etc, you're right.

Run of the mill by the look of it.

I can't tell if you like it or not...

From those 'sneaky' shots, like I said over at myKa, I'm really disappointed. The Ka is meant to be forward thinking, fresh, original and innovative. It looks like a Corsa D with the Verve/Fiesta front end stuck on the front. It looks oddball. I will reserve judgement until nice high quality photos are revealed, but so far I'm deeply unimpressed. The original Ka was the first ever car that grabbed my attention at the age of 8. I knew I wanted one and would have to have one when I turned 17. It was just so fresh, different and quirky. But this new one? The Ka shouldn't have to fit in with the corporate look. It should have it's own identity. I don't want a shrunked Fiesta/Verve Plus the interior looks mightly cheap. It's just wrong to see Fiat switchgear in a Ka too!
