Paul,

How long is it before you are automatically signed out of the forum for no activity?

On MINI2 I believe it is half an hour, but on here it seems to be a much shorter time?

I have just written a post that took me about 10-15 minutes to compose, and I had been automatically signed out before I could submit it.

Since joining I've never, automatically, been signed out You should be able to change log-in times / time out settings in the USER CP. What browser are you using?

I can't see any way of changing the settings in User Control Panel, and it's the same on MINI2 (but then due to the number of threads I'm never inactive long enough on MINI2 for it to happen)

I use Firefox.

Not sure to be honest. Try checking in the User CP as suggested already?

Did you sign out about 10 minutes ago Tom, or was it automatic?

Thanks Paul

Tom disappeared 15 minutes after his last post, so I thought it was set to that.

Nope didn't 'sign out' just popped off for a bit (doing a bit of designing!) and popped back on. I'm always logged in though, so if I close my browser and come back on I'm still logged in

If you check the 'remember me' option it keeps you logged in, even after a 'time out', but you are not active. If you don't check that option then when you go inactive, you're also logged out.

Working? On a Sunday? You're worse than me!

I thought you'd signed out (automatically or by choice) as you disappeared from the 'Who's Online' list 15 minutes after posting.

Thanks Paul, I'll give that a try.
