That's right.

The price list was put together before the delays/unavailable options were announced.

It's a pity about the sat nav since although it's twice the price of third party options the option is still great value when compared to integrated alternatives for other cars (though with the MINI at least you get a redesigned dashboard for your money), especially as the Blue & Me Nav is supposedly integrated with the car's controls plus the sat nav itself is theoretically more "thief proof" with no need to fiddle with/hide suction mounts, etc. (Though it may not stop someone stupidly trying to steal the sat nav even if the screen has been removed from the car.)

Indeed the pricing of optional extras for the 500 seems very reasonable: I added loads of options to my choice of 500 and the total cost didn't increase much more than £2000, whereas with the MINI (for example) it's oh-so-easy to add £5000+ to the price if you're not careful!

Real shame about the Blue&Me, I hope it appears soon enough as I'm sure it would do pretty well sales wise.

Thanks Scrogg for the original file, glad it's proving helpful/useful.

The Fiat official site(s) seem to miss the point a little to me, as do many car sites. It appears a lack of joined up thinking, for example simple stuff like if you can look at your ideal car, you should be able to price it all up at the same time, is pretty commonplace still.

The other point I wanted to make was on the good price on the options, this is doubly important at resale or trade in time, when the options is the place you lose most value, you can pretty much wave goodbye to the expense of those lovely personal and luxury touches when it time comes to chose your next set of wheels.

If you go to the Fiat site and pick another model (such as the Panda), you get a different style of configurator that does include the prices of options, therefore maybe the 500 will get this when it's 'officially' launched in January?

That'd be sensible.
