The Scotland on Sunday guy seems to 'get it' better than some.

A girly 500, but it's the graphics that make it so.
I think the problem about men and smaller cars is lack of respect amongst other men. My mate has an Astra sports hatch, which most men agree is worthy of respect, because it looks masculine and sporty. The 500 is funky and retro and has a cool interior - these things don't attract respect from other men during car conversations in the pub.
Despite all that, I do actually fancy getting one but even my girlfriend says they're a bit girly
A bit Girly? Their kidding, right? I mean bloody Clarkson said your missus would look better driving it, but look at what he drives! Your talking about a bloke who likes the "Vuaxhall" (read Holden/HSV) R8, which is a shocking car, it's absolutly appalling!
And this other bloke, if he is that concerned about been seen in a car that is a bit girly, he can feel free to "compensate" in other areas.
Just not in public.
And please not in the print media, where he mistakenly belives people value his opinion.
