Saw my first one driving about near Newcastle on the way home from work yesterday which looked very much like the same one I saw parked in the Metrocentre car park about a week ago. Still 2 months for mine, the wait is unbearable and only going to get worse once I see more 5oos out and about!

To date, saw only two, both Pop's (identified by the plastic wheel covers) in white and black in Birmingham.

Still almost as rare as hen's teeth.

Mine arrives late April / early May. The long wait is coming to an end hopefully!

Socrates - what was the car like?
The metro centre is on my doorstep and I'm still waiting to see another 500. Wasn't a bossa white with italian stripe was it? Like i say, i live 5 mins from the metro centre so you're very likely to see lulu there any day!
Just had a really funny experience at swalwell roundabout tonight - two women waving and pointing at the car when i crossed - were smiling so i reckon they approved:-)

The one I saw was Cha Cha Azure, no stickers that I could see but only got a glimpse both times, 2nd time was crossing the Heworth roundabout. I'll definitely keep a look out for your car as well, nice to see it getting some local approval .

Which dealership did you go with for yours? I'm with Benfield though did a test drive with Gainmanor first.

Went to Benfield but they couldn't give me the full trade in for my car and was quoted the usual 3 months wait. Phoned around and found that Wentane in Yarm had the exact car spec i wanted coming in the following week, no deposit and they took my car as full payment - saweeet:-)
Didn't get any extras though - not even usb hub, still, couldn't be happier with my decision to change, loving the car more 2 weeks down the line.

I went to the dealers today and was telling him that my boyfriend had seen a red 500 in my home town, he said he sold a standard 500 to a gentleman who lives in the same town and that the reg is only one letter different to mine. Mine ends FXY and his FXX and we both picked them. What a coincidence! If I see him when get me 500 I will be flashing like mad, probs on a regular basis.lol!

I saw my car today and I love it, it was a bit snowy so I didn't open it coz I didn't want to get the seats wet (hmm, although there was plastic covers on the seats) oh well! I asked for the reg plates to be stuck on , following everyones advice which they have done, it has been pdi'd all I am waiting on is the spoiler to be fitted 2moz and for the valeter to clean it. So I am pickin it up late monday or tuesday. I was really happy as it was hidden around the back of the showroom so it wont have people walking past and looking at it etc... I can't wait. x
