Default What car do you currently drive?

I currently drive a Mini, it's my 4th one and soon to be sold. I fancy a change and the Abarth looks promising. :-)

Toyota Aygo. Bought it as a cheap runaround whilst we were buying our first house.
I hate it and can't wait to get a 500 next summer.

55 reg Ford Ka. It's good and comfy and economical and no problem at all.
I've had 7 or 8 Ford Kas over the last 9 years, but 2 have been completely awful, unrepairable and ended up being rejected and going back to Ford! Despite the problems I still like little Fords.

My 'heart' says: Buy a Fiat 500 Lounge early next year.
My 'head' says: Wait for the all new Ford Ka to be launched late next year.

My everyday & city-car is a smart fortwo. Our Family-Car is a Mercedes B-Class. And some weeks ago I sold my 68 Fiat Dino-Spider (with a broken hard - after six years). Not enough time to care about it......

Currently it's a 2002 VW Lupo GTI. Fun little box that's actually pretty quick as long as you use the 6 gears . I really love small cars, my first were original Minis, almost 20 years ago. Never really liked the BMW Mini though (heavy, large, expensive), think the NF500 does the retro thing better (I'm not saying it's a better car, mind you).

I'm considering getting something new early next year, but haven't really made my mind up yet. We live in pretty big city in Germany with semi decent public transport and don't really *need* a car (although it's nice to be lazy sometimes). The 500 Abarth might be an option, but with current fuel prices I'm leaning more and more towards using the train for the daily commute + something just for driving pleasure. Perhaps an Elise if I can figure out the paperwork required for importing one from the UK (the German LHD ones are stupidly expensive).

I'm driving a MINI Cooper S since five years and it's still fun. Nevertheless it isn't getting younger and repair costs could rise in the future. So a car change could be welcome!

2007 Holden Commodore SS. Pretty far removed from the 500, as it has a 6.0 litre V8, is RWD, and is slightly larger than a BMW 5 series. For those of you in the UK, it's closely related to the upcoming Vauxhall VXR8.

MINI Cooper S. Was a Fiat man for a long time (Old Panda, 2 Cinqs, Bravo, Seic, Punto Sp). Then Fiat didn't have anything to excite me so I went MINI for a Cooper and now my current Cooper S. Can't wait for a 500.

Cheers,
Tony.
