Well it's telling me that I need to have a lighter right foot... now the last couple of days I've been so light on the right foot it's unbelievable. It's also saying I could use my gears better, even though I'm in the green zone for all the gears!

Annoyingly I can't seem to see how much each particular journey costs. Yesterday I was able to see each journey, the consumption and how much the journey cost. Now it's just giving me a summary of the last 5 days. Grrrr.

I talked to my mate about it and they were fine with giving us money towards petrol, and now I don't even know how much each journey costs!

Cost per journey sounds like a great feature, now I'll know (unfortunately) how much it costs me to go for a nice drive, for a drive's sake. We have a really nice kind of 'circuit' of road around where we live which is a joy to drive, I reckon not to cheap though.... :-/

It's good fun though if you've got a route like that, experimenting with different driving techniques and seeing the full impact on a pc screen.

Loaded ecodrive and just completed my initial 5 days and I have acceleration & gearchange to improve whic I believe will always come up as an issue.

Eco index is 76 average, that is my normal driving.

My first 367.2 miles in new car has me at 54.9 mpg, am hoping that once the engine starts to loosen up just after 1st service, i would be in 60 - 65 mpg, at normal driving.

So far i am pleased with mpg return,
I am experimenting with Ultimate v Normal diesel at the moment another tank of each & I will then decide which is actually cheaper in the long run to use.

And the fix is ... The update on my car was corrupted and the INSTALL.INF file which lives in the root directory of the USB drive was not being removed after an update. I didn't see the file amidst all my other music files - but deleting that fixes my problem. It's this file that tells the Blue&Me which file to install.

Exact oppersite in our house. I am averaging 71 points on EcoDrive, i let the wife have the car for a day and her average was 23 !!!!! And she tell me i drive too fast....tomorrow i will show her how to change into 2nd gear.

EcoDrive worked fine for the first few weeks i had it (i was in the first 1,000 to download it) but now i have a later version and the EcoVille average has dropped to the bottom of the graph and last week's trips don't fully down load so they don't show as a bar graph as do previous trips when i reduce the number of days being viewed. Will keep using it to see if another fix come s along.

I too rev too much in 1st and 2nd gears.

Less throttle = more economy, who'd have thought.
