Default Tesco chrome number plate surrounds

I finally stopped driving and got around to fitting these today My dealer stuck the plates on with double sided tape, they still took a bit of prising off though (Please note reg now spaced correctly )

For those interested there are four factory pre-drilled holes on the tailgate, two at each end? pointless for this country!!

There are no holes pre-drilled in the front bumper.

Any how the point of the thread was to show the Tesco chrome number plate surrounds, for eight quid I think they're pretty good. Probably not to everyones taste but they go with the retro look pretty well I recon. Thanks for the link a few weeks ago Tino. These have been stuck on with No nails extra strong pads.

Ideal thanks for that. I too have got a pair of tesco chrome surrounds and was wondering how you've got on fitting them.
I Think they look great and now won't be sending them back......will try n get the dealer to fit mine on PDI.

Thye look fantastic. I love the thicker part at the bottom on the surround. It kind of echos the boot handle. Will have to have a look into getting some. Did you just pop along to your local Tesco or did you have to get them ordered?

Tom, I just went on line and ordered. They were on offer at £8 each so a bit of a bargain, just follow bexx link shes given and order away

Ps watch the carriage charge, I got the order up to £25 then got it sent to my nearest tesco's direct for me to collect at my leisure, then it was carriage free

The look very smart!! They'd look right at home with the chrome kit - Should be standard IMO

hi chinchillabug, I am thinking of getting some of the number plate surrounds like yours (though tescos dont do them any more it seems) and I was wondering how they were going, are they still looking good or are there any signs of wearing etc yet? I'm not sure which ones to get. Thanks, Louise.
