Hi Pinklou,

I also purchased a set of the Tesco number plate surrounds and have had them on our 500 "tiddler" since May.

We try to wash him at least once a week and have noticed no problems in discolouring or flaking & think they are a worth while addition to the 500. I not too sure tho if they work with a optional fitted "a" bar though.

I have attached a couple of pic's

Cheers

Yoshi

I've found these which look identical to the Tesco ones -

Chrome number plate surround - (Each) by DCP - eDirectory.co.uk secure online shop

Chrome number plate surround - (Each)

I prefer this style over the usual surrounds which are the same thickness all the way around, the flat section on these mirror the shape of the 500 hatch handle.

I've fitted mine with the "a" bar and think they look as as ....
