OK, here's mine for my 1.2.

In the first 130 miles I have achived an average of 44.9mpg, that's 30% m/way 30% A roads & 40% town driving (city centre traffic jams).

Up to 57.3 after 190 miles and edging towards the magical 60 ...
Doing more motorway miles now, but still crawling through morning traffic ...

Nothing as impressive for the 1.2 here, I've crept up to 45.2mpg@160 miles. Still much better than I have been used to for the last 5 months.

If it stays over 45mpg I'll be a happy bunny.

And the 1.2 engine is very sweet.

most mpg claims for new cars are totally unacheiveable unless you are going vertically south over a cliff edge, but i must admit that these figure you are reporting are pretty close to the claims for these cars (and still running in).. very impressive!!!!

I'm being gentle during the first few miles and admit to having the instant consumption displayed in the cluster. Interesting to see that on a motorway cruise, on a flat stretch and once you get up to speed it steadies around 70-80MPG .... Those are the kind of figures that are probably making my average MPG figures better than expected ... 57.9 at the end of today's commute.

Strangely @ 70mph, with the display on instantaneous MPG I appear to be using less fuel than at 65mph

There's always the chance it's due to road conditions though.

Well the faster you are going the more miles you are doing.
