Default What do you make of the "Cabrio spy shots"?

That appeared recently?

Not sure they show us enough to get excited myself, but if they do show the soft top version, it's good to see it's well underway in testing.

Nice to see they haven't got shot of the roof rails, such a large part of a cars character is in the roof line.

Let's hope they don't do some kind of C3 Pluriel affar!!!!!!

Although I'll start getting excited when we see spy shots of the 500 Estate.

My mum once mistook a Pluriel for a 500.

Assuming, as all these photos hint at, the 500 has a fold back roof, but the sides stay up, couldn't that end up being seen as a bit half cocked by some, even though it does, of course, relate well to the history of the car?

what troubles me is that the car can look quite tall in hatch back form, if you make the roof bit fold down, but leave those big pillars either side sticking up, its going to make it look taller! and that can't be a good thing! If it does have the sides up, think its a bit of a 1/2 effort, would have liked to seen a full cabrio like the MINI.

Great thing about the MINI with the stood up windscreen, you reallly get a spacious open top feel..

Will you be able to electrically power down the rear windows? or will they be fixed like the hatch? If so with the windscreen, door frames, sides, rear windows, not much of an 'open air' driving experience...
