to cut a long story short,i had been into my local fiat dealership a couple of times, was going toget a 1.2 pop with extras,told it would be 10- 12 weeks wait. did not really want to wait that long, emailed themthe other day and asked if i went for a 1.2 lounge was there any in the country,emailed me back stating there was a 1.2 lounge,in bossa nova white,with red leather and ivory ambiance,c/c, leather gear knob,side rubbing strip with 500 logo, and a red stripe,and they could get it here for end september, it had everything that i wanted,but also a few things i didnt, configured it on fiat site,and decided to go for it any way, made a bit f a deal with them as i was going to be paying for some things that i did not really want. and after a few tense times with them i am finally going to get my baby at the end of september, and how excited am i........
so bit of a strange one really. but iam a great believer in fate and we were obviously meant to be together.....................

ok, got you, so its not a factory spec order to your own spec... mine is a factory spec order. the sun roofs had ran out at the factory when i ordered in april, the dealer said the sun roofs were back in stock in july, and my car will be ready in oct! 6 month from order date... 3 month from july! so i guess thats right... carnt wait tho.. bossa nova white. the diesel is a fab engine and the economy outstanding... i do like all the 500s in any spec tho, very special... slim

Not as tense as finding out that the one and only suitable car available before the end of September had already been sold by another dealership, and then having to spend the better part of two hours on a Saturday morning trying to find another one!
