Touch up paint

I have been waiting for this for months. I ordered it from the dealer and checked whether they had taken delivery on numerous occasions.

In frustration I rang Fiat Customer care. A gentleman rang me back that afternoon to say that he had ordered it for me and the dealers would ring me when it came in. Yeah right!

I got a phone call from the dealers the next day to say that it had arrived.

Apparantly the dealers then tried to order another one for a different customer using the same code. They were told it wasn't available!!!

Moral of the tale - if your dealer can't get the touch up paint - ring Fiat Customer Care.

I just need the courage to tackle the stone chips now.

It can also be mixed for you now that halfords have the correct codes on their computer, I needed some for a couple of chips and they whipped up a batch in 10 minutes for me, perfect.

I was just going to message you today, Miss Bently.lol! I went into Petch's today and I asked about the touch up sticks. At first they were going to just get me the colour code then one lad said they can get them now. I have ordered one and Simon has asked for them to get about 5 in stock. Sould only be a few days, I hope!

I also showed Simon the dirt under the paint work as he was a little confused about what it might look like. I have a few spots inside the door bit and one on the front of the car. I might eventually get the one on the front done after I get the proxy realignment thingy sorted.
