So wreckmaster, VilleV ... how much does a Fiat 500 cost in your respective countries? I have the feeling that in the UK, the prices for the 500 are reasonably competetive, but not the cheapest in Europe, and I'm still peeved we are not being offered the same incentives as the rest of Europe where prices are around the same.

I will pay NOK 189000, in euros 23300. Mine is a 1,2 pop with a few options (blue&me, electric sunroof etc...).
A basic 1,2 pop with no exstras starts at NOK 159900 = eur 19700.

In Norway they come standard with all the three letter saftey things like ESP, ABS, Hill holder, A/C ( not clima, thats an option)etc..... And of course 5 year/100000 km full warranty.
Can`t wait to get mine in sept.

In Finland 1.2 Lounge starts at 16500 euros (no esp as standard, 500 euros extra for that). 1.3 diesel Lounge and Sport are 18500 and 1.4 engine versions are 19500. We don´t get Pop version here at all! At current currency rates 16500e is 13072£ and 19500e is 15448£, so the cars are definitely more expencive here. Still, I´m shocked about prices in Norway!!! They are REALLY expencive!

Everything is more expensive in Norway!!!! especially cars I live in the southern part of Norway so I guess i`m the among the lucky ones in this country because I can go to Sweden once a week or so for grocery shopping and alcohol and sigarettes. Sweden is just like 45 minutes away But cars are to much work to buy in Sweden and with the taxes for bringing it in to Norway I wouldn`t save that much anyway......

The 500 is among the cheapest cars you can buy in Norway

You can download a full price comparison between different Euro countries here ...

http://ec.europa.eu/comm/competition...08_04_full.pdf

Have a look at pages 78 and 79 for the prices of a 1.2 POP and the prices of various options.

Of the countries that it seems natural for me to compare with it looks like Denmark is the country with prices closest to Norway. But Norway is still on top in Europe I guess
But I guess maybe Norway has the largest salerys too, so it might not be the largest differences in what a person actually has got to spend. We earn a lot of money in Norway but everything is extremly expensive.....

I hope you all understand my english, even if the grammer is not correct....

I arranged when buying my 500 that when the 5yr warranty became available that I could purchase it retrospecitvely.
Hopefuly the warranty will be announced and when it does I will be phoning Fiat to purchase / recieve it free depending on how it is being advertised. I do hope that this wont be a problem !

Default Truly dissapointing

I see no reason why they can't give a 5 year warranty, also why havn't they created a 'Mini style' tlc package for a 5 year servicing plan. This would show belief in their product and that the future of Fiat is bright.

Come on Fiat think with your heart's not the accountants heads.
