yep really the best of luck, hope they do a better job.

I like a nice clean car but by no means a 'detailler' to your sort of level, and things like you describe really annoy me, so must torment you.

I had a 3 series convertible with 550 miles on the clock that got hit and needed a new rear quarter panel, they only did the job 3 times....

still wasnt happy but gave up. Nice sign on reception, BMW Approved Body Shop, and they even won bodyshop of the year once!

sevice as admin said seems to be going down hill, and the same everywhere!

You are not kidding, I felt physically sick when leaving the 500 in their care tonight, I told them if it's not right I'm taking in to a bodyshop I trust & they will be footing the bill for the work plus a hire care.

All the best Mark. I know how you feel about your car and I'm hoping that it comes back in acceptable condition (although you have a very high standards

Good luck

As long as it's to factory standard I'll be happy,

Well, Luigi was due back today, but I had a call yesterday saying he won't be done until Monday.

Told them I really don't mind how long they take, as long as they get it right (although I do need it by Wednesday morning as we are taking him on holiday)

Just had the call......

It will be ready by lunchtime.

Can't wait to get it back, whilst the Brera I am driving at the moment is nice, I prefer the 500 for nipping around in.

Just in time to, have to load Bluigi up tomorrow night as we are off on our hol's, to Guernsey.

Barely passable to be honest.

The bonnet has been polished and is full of swirls, the from right wing has had something split down it that marked the paint.

Took me 4hrs of careful machine polishing with Menzerna Final Finish last night to get it looking respectable again. Once the paint is fully hard I'll be able to get it perfect hopefull.

I'll give Simostone crdit where it's due, they said it can go back again to get sorted, but frankly I don't want Central Bodyshop touching my car ever again.
