Default Does the glass roof leave you frazzled?

That big glass roof seems like it may make the car a big hot greenhouse.

Just wondering if that's the case seeing as we've had some (reasonably) warm days lately, or if it's not too bad?

I know in my old MINIs with the double sunroof, even with the "sun screen" pulled over it would get much hotter than another MINI without it in the same situation.

Just wondered if the glass roof makes the 500 a little boil in the bag bag?

It does get hot, but then I wouldnt know if its any hotter than one without , quick blast of the air con and it soons cools down I wouldnt be without my glass roof ,makes the whole interior so light and airy and you can see aeroplanes and birds go by lol

Even with aircon in the MINI with the big roof you could REALLY tell the difference.

I haven't found it a problem so far - only had my car 2 weeks though, so that might change. The aircon cools the car down really fast when it starts warming up a bit, and I love the light and being able to look up and see sky. I've never had the blind across yet.

I parked it somewhere sunny for the first time today (it usually goes in a multi storey outside work and/or it isn't sunny in the first place, and I will admit it was a bit warm when I got in it. The aircon cooled it back down to a sensible temperature pretty quickly.
