Default Finally plucked up the courage to........

......sort the bonnet of the 500 out. Since I took delivery there have been a few scratches & some swirl/wash marks, but I didn't trust the FIAT dealer to sort them.
So it was time to sort it with the Cyclo.

Started by claying carefully with Bilt Hamber clay, then it was time to take the plunge......

Started with some Megs #80 but that was leaving the swirls in, so I went to some #83 on a firmer pad, followed by some #80 & finnaly some Menz Final Finish. Found in the warm weater that it was best to keep spritzing the polish with a light mist of water to keep it wet.

Then topped it off with Lime Prime Light & a layer of Blue Velvet.
I'm well happy with the results too, although comments &/or critisisms welcome as always

Nice job man. You can see all the clouds in it! I'm very envious (but lazy, so mine is never going to look that good )

Wow!! amazing......wish I had the patience to make Bibi look so gleaming, she spends alot of her time with squished flies on her front!! soon as I clean them off they are back, dont think the colour helps......fly magnet lol

Nice job, mine has recently had the Makita rotary treatment & as it's black it was easy to see the dealer induced swirls before I started. You really do need to be careful with the rotary but the results are more rewarding than you get with orbital polishers. I obviously have a PTG just to make sure I'm not removing too much clear coat.

Looks really good. I bet you're well chuffed with the results. How long did it all take?

Shiny! Very nice - although I bet the pictures dont do it justice?

Vindaloo - have also got a crossover, been wanting to get a good wax on it for a while but the weather keeps letting me down.
