Good news, at least it has arrived.
How long did it take from ordering to arriving at the dealers?

Mine was built week 27 and was ready by July 1st the day i ordered it...................was told 4 - 6 weeks from this point.......and its been 5.

Thats not to bad then.
I ordered mine on the 4th July and it was status 16 last week.
Not sure exactly when it will arrive, but someone on another forum (works for a fiat dealer) recons it should arrive in UK in about 4-5 weeks then a week or so after that at the dealers.
Remember the pics for all us sad people who are still waiting.

now it's my turn to introduce myself to this forum.

My name is Tom, and I'm from Bavaria. Almost 43 years old, married, two sons and a proud owner of a Pasodoble red FIAT 500 1.4 16 V Lounge.

I ordered it on the 23rd of October 2007 and finally got it on the 29th Feb 2008.

All of our family members love Luigi. That's his name.

In May we have already had a FIAT 500 Meeting. 34 brand-new FIAT 500 took part on this Tour at the Odenwald, Germany. If you wanna have a look: Odenwald 2008 Galerien
The most fascinating thing about the 500 is, that you are never finished with investing money in some "upgrades". Next invests are Eibach Springs and an adjustable armrest in black leather.

That's a brilliant-looking 500 Tom. It looks exactly like mine. Mine's a 1.4 Sport so it' also got the rear spoiler, and I've also got the red brake callipers.

After ordering my 500 back in April, I dropped by the dealer today to discover it was there! While the wheels need changing (dealer muck-up) & still awaiting the side stripes to be added, it was a beautiful sight to behold! Knew it was going to be delivered soon but thought it was next week. Not picking it up until September but not sure I can wait that long now!

My 500's (will have to work on a name) spec:
Mod Blue 1.4 Sport
Sunroof
Red brake calipers
Italian flag side stripe
Rubbing strip with 500 logo
Two tone alloys

G'day, great looking forum. I've been looking for a 500 forum, but they are a bit thin on the ground ATM so I hope you guys dont mind an Aussie butting in for a while

Still dont have one yet (and am still to order!) as I am currently overseas, but I plan a full house rebuild on one as soon as it rolls out of the dealership, so expect heaps of questions from the left field as I try some random mods IOT try something a little different.
