New Member/Introduction Thread

Hello all.
Thought I'd register here and see what's going on. Currently a user on Pauls MINI2.com site which in the 18 months I've been a member has been a huge source of technical help and friends. If the community on here grows to be a fraction of what it is on M2 then you're in for a great ride. I currently drive a 56 plate MINI Cooper Works. I love the Fiat 500 from what I have seen of it to date. Was lucky enough to get a poke around one that accompanied us round the famous Lingotto roof top test track during this years Italian Job charity event. It is a fabulous looking car and i can't wait to have a drive of one, especially the 'hotter' versions promised later on. Enjoy the site guys.

Good to see a few familiar names on here already!

I'm not sure if Paul knows this yet (I can assure you it is purely coincidence - I didn't move from MINI to Fiat just because you set this site up! ) but I have recently taken a position as Sales Manager for a Fiat dealership (don't worry, I'm not here trying to get any business! ) so if I can offer any help or advice please don't hesitate to ask.

Those that know me from MINI2 will be all too aware that I am fairly unique amongst my profession, in that I am not afraid to answer the difficult questions and am 100% against some of the practices that give the industry I love such a bad name.

The launch of the new 500 is an exciting time, and one that I am happy to be a part of from the very beginning

Im Jo, just popped over from MINI2 to see whats going on Hi Paul + Simon *waves*

The 500 is a cute car, but im not keen on the interior The one I looked at, at MPH looked a bit too plasticy and chic for my liking

I'll be sticking with my MINI But good luck to all you soon to be 500 owners
