Split Rear Seats

Hi All

Sorry if this has already been raised - had a quick look thru the topics but couldn't see an obvious answer

Am going to be ordering a new 500 soon (1.4 Sport) and I was wanting to pick the collective brains of all of you out there who have Sports. The pre-launch brochure I have (and the Fiat website) indicates that split fold rear seats are an option on the Sport but standard on the Lounge but the 2 Sports I have seen (one in showroom, one on test drive) both had split rear seats and the dealer said these were standard so am a bit confused. Guess it won't make much difference re space but would like the flexibility of only having one seat down (incidentally does the seat bit tip forward and the back go into the space left or is it just the back which sits on top of the seat which doesn't move ? - if that makes sense

Also toying with red leather seats - does split fold and rear head rests come as standard with this or do I have to specify both options ?

Have also posted a message in one of the other threads about colours as am struggling to get a clear idea of what some of the colours like in the flesh

Well, I have a Sport 500 with cloth seats and mine do not split. I think the leather seats come as split always but not so sure, maybe somebody else knows?

If you go for leather then you get the split seats as well. Unless the spec has changed recently, split fold seats with cloth trim are still an option.

We specified the red leather on our 1.4 Sport and it comes with split/fold seats and rear head-rests. Alas, it does not come with the secret underseat storage compartment beneath the front passenger seat.

Confirmed also. Red leather comes with the split rear seats and the headrests. There a cinch to drop and raise too.

As MS Bentley alluded to, the leather seats don't have the under-passenger-seat compartment. To be honest, it stops me from keeping a load of junk in the car
