Ipod connection kit with B&M

Hello all,

Does anyone know if the iPod kit for non-B&M can be used with a B&M unit? (To avoid using USB port and media player)

I wondered the same thing, cos it would make a lot of sense, but I don't know if there is some software confusion.
Maybe you could get the dealer to order a kit and then you could "pop" the radio out and try it at the dealers, without installing it (very simple, just a few push fits), if it doesn't work then don't buy it, but agree all that with the dealer first.
