Default Best way to transfer music for B&M

I have a simple MP3 player which looks like a data stick (but isnt)..

Like this - http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5133161/Trail/searchtext>MP3.htm

What i'd like to know is what is the best way to get music onto it, in a way that B&M will be happy with, and pick up all the music??

Last time i put a cd in the laptop, and used windows media player to transfer music onto it - but, B&M didnt pick up all the albums & songs, probably only 75% of.

Why was that, and how can i make sure it works smoothly from now on??

In an ideal world, i'd drop and drag the music onto the player, plug it into the car, and play ALL the music!

Default music

Easiest method would be _
1) Rip cd onto PC in MP3 format
2) Copy the folder onto the stick ( ensure that music folder is in root and not within a folder)

Some players can only read folders in root, and can see the music from there.

Hope this helps.

P.S, checked out the item, you can get a 4gb memory stick for that price which works great in the USB slot.

What does in root mean ???? I bought a memory stick and dragged a music file across onto the stick but nothing happens. I

can only seem to get the radio or cd, shouldnt the music pay from the stick as soon as I plug it in. I hate reading instructions, so sorry for the dumb question

I am having the same problems, having read the intruction manual and speaking nicely to the woman I am not further on. I think you need to leave it in the socket a minute so it (the car Blue and me system) can buil a library. Any advice would certainly help me too. x

You need to make sure it is in the right format, and for some reason only certain memory sticks work. I saved the songs to my fiat one and nothing happened. Used another plugged it on and it played straight away. All you do is plug it in and it works, its that simple. I was messing on for ages trying to get the damn thing to work looking throught the settings etc.. Dont know why one usb stick worked and one didn't. Thre is a list of compatible ones in the handbook though. Hope this helps. x

Default BluMeUSB

Have a look at this :

BluMeUSB: MP3 Conversion for Fiat and Alfa Romeo Blue&Me

It will solve all problems with "Blue&Me" incompatible MP3 files on your USB stick. (presuming the stick itself is working)

Happy motoring !
