Subtler is good. Also gives us a nice reference point as you've eyeballed both.

Cheers,
Tony.

My Brother's got a GranTurismo and loves it although he says it is a BIG car. He was in a DB9 before and they aren't exactly small. I was going to get a drive at Christmas, but some ba#*%rd parked across the gates to his driveway and we couldn't get out!

What colour and spec have you gone for? He's got the Blue with the cream/tan leather and the 20" wheels.

Mine is going to be Grigio Touring (silver) with beige (tan to my eyes) leather, contrasting black stitching, black carpets and black headliner, 20" Birdcage alloys and a few other things that I can't recall off the top of my head. It was supposed to be a December build car but apparently the paint used for silver cars has to be hand sprayed like the special order colours and demand has been far higher than anticipated so there has been a backlog in production. I've been assured that my car is due to be built in the next few weeks but I'll believe it when I see it.

Sounds nice. My Bro got his car on week 2 after launch. He's gone for the Birdcage 20"'s too, Skyhook and just about everything else. He came down this morning and I've just got back from an extended drive

I have to say that I didn't actually think it felt any bigger then the DB9 and he reckoned I got used to the size pretty quickly. I did think that the steering was quite light at speed but it certainly goes OK, although it hasn't got the thrust of the DB9 but is very driveable.

The seats are great with the backrest being quite firm and the seat bit softer. It also feels a lot less "handmade" than the DB9 as the sat nav on that never closed flush on the dash, even though they fiddled with it every time it went in for a service.

It's a real crowd puller though and certainly attracts a lot of interest. I might let my Bro have a go in my 500 when I get it . . . . . if he's lucky

BTW, his Business Partner is probably going to sell his F430 - 06 plate Red/ Crema hide, 4000 miles, Maranello supplied car, so if you know of anyone who may be interested, let me know.

Here's a picture of the interior of mine:

Love the red interior, with Punk grey, and white headrests, steering wheel etc, looks wonderful :-)

Your car looks great. The red leather looks to be really nice quality. I'm waiting for June delivery of my car 1.2 lounge Bossanova White with red leather. Although some of the pictures of the red leather earlier on this forum don't look too good, it seems that those people that have gone for this option in their car like it. Suggests it's difficult to photograph it well rather than poor quality to me.

Anyhow, will post my reaction to it when it arrives (which I'm looking forward to).
