I know .. I specified the Sport seats when I ordered my Lounge way back last October because the configurator allowed me to. Now I'm disappointed I can't get them. But I'll just hang about for some accident damaged 500 Sport (sounds terrible but unfortunately it's going to happen to someone's pride and joy), or some offer on eBay.

Thanks Tony Your the man! I think they look really good. Porsche charge extra for ruffled leather (I kid you not). It seems the Polish factory seat sewers throw it it for no extra charge on the 500

Why order a Lounge with Sport seats Tino, why not just order a Sport?

Well spotted ... you'll never be fooled by one of those dodgy Italian blokes trying to offload "real special leather" jackets at motorway service stations!

Works out slightly more expensive by about £200... I wanted the glass roof and 50/50 split seats and don't like the Sport wheels (I also specified foglights and darkened rear windows that are standard on the Sport). Having seen the Lounge trim, I thought it was quite nice, and not such a bad second choice after all.

PS Sorry to isuk for hijacking this thread

Tino is quote a common "diminutive" name ... by diminutive I don't mean short people

I ordered the Sport version to avoid the glass roof and then specced chrome and the 15" multispokes

You see what I mean about saggy bum syndrome? It's only going to get worse ... then again I suppose that's part of the quality / ageing patina that endears people to leather.
