Default iPod Holders

The iPod holder on the FIAT website looks too wide for my 2nd gen Nano, lloks more suited to the larger iPods.

I was wondering if anyone has come across a decent cup holder mounted iPod cradle that actually work & looks tidy?

Personally (and this just a very personal view), I like to hide things like that out of view, especially if you can or do integrate the controls with your regular stereo. Even having a holder can be enough for a crook to think it's stashed in your car somewhere, much like sat-nav holders or even suction marks on your screen.

Check out the iSqueez from Griffin Technology - Griffin Technology: iSqueez - it's pretty basic, just a flexible rubber cup holder insert, but it just looks like a standard cupholder or ash tray so theives won't see it and want to break in When you leave the car, unplug yer iPod and stash it in the little draw cubby next to the gear lever

Thinking about it you're probably better off just buying a memory key and using that instead. For the price of a holder you could probably get a 4-8GB stick which will hold the same amount of tracks as your Nano. It's also smaller, more discrete and you don't have to worry about leaving it in the car.

Whether you're using an iPod or memory stick you navigate through your tracks through the speedo computer display. Oh and Fiat send you a memory stick when you buy a car from them... I think it's only 256-512MB... it's a funny little flip out thing

I have ordered a 32GB memory stick in advance, just like flexibility of the iPod.
