Checking the options list, the leather steering wheel is a £100 option and doesn't require Blue&Me to be specced as well. It's only when you spec B&M that you have to have the appropriate steering wheel.

Sorry Tony I think you are mistaken. I wanted a leather steering wheel as it is the only way you can get audio controls, but if you have the leather steering wheel you have to have blue and me. So they all come as one option really. Its £350 quid for the leather steering wheel, blue and me and audio controls. I know because I got it. I didn't really want the blue and me but had to get it for the other 2. I'm glad I did though. I hope that makes sense.x

Not available yet, but that's not to say it won't ever be.

You could have a leather steering wheel fitted, but it would mean having redundant Blue&Me control buttons.

Yeah I just asked for estimated arrival date then what point in the production line. As sometimes the status changes and it can be frustrating. x

My problem was i didn't want B&Me coz it wouldn't work with iPod properly, also hear strange canbus stories about B&Me, plus I think Parrot best for handsfree noise suppression. I would have liked a leather wheel but actually the plastic wheel is actually not that bad. Don't understand why Fiat have no option to spec it alone. Retrofit cost is around £200 for wheel plus £70 for controls (parts alone), plus no guarantee it would all hook up. Hmmmm. Car still great though, maybe I should buy leather gloves to get back to feel of leather.

Indeed I think you're right - I've just checked the linked options at the bottom of the "Options" document and it seems so. I should've had a look down there previously. It does though just say "Opt" for the POP version on the main part of the doc. Caveats like this usually have an asterisk poing you to the smallprint.

I might have stuck to plastic(not literally) if it had been a retro hard plastic, but I suppose that would be slippery and "dangerous" in this day and age.
