AUX Input

Hi,

I have the standard 500 head unit without blue/me or any add-ons... When i press 'cd' twice it says 'AUX' so i therefore guess that there is an AUX port in the back....

Has anyone tried adding a line in to this?

I have a few qeustions:

1) Best way to pull out the Head unit

2) Easy place to wire the jack to (anyway of getting it to come out of the small glovebox to the left of my legs (side of the centre console).

3) How to wire it up: can i just put a standard 3.5mm wire in? Or do i have to do some cutting/modding?

I think there's an MP3 accessory (maybe just iPod) that fits this way to the non-Blue & Me unit.
