Default Outside Temp

Is there an option to display the outside temp on the dash display, there looks like there is a space for it on the screen.

I think it is standard with outside temp on the display. It`s together with the milage and the drivers computer info......

Mine doesn't show for some reason, I can't see an option to turn it on either. Weird

Do you get the instrument cluster warning to tell you that there is "possible ice on the road" ?

Maybe you have a faulty sensor somewhere?

Try this forum thread. Apparently the exterior temperature sensor (which is why I asked about the ice warning message) appears to be only included with factory fit colour coded mirrors?? I thought it came as standard with aircon?

Strange how similar cars are different from country to country. Here it is standard with outside temp, a/c is also standard and the same with esp and abs..... All in all the 500 is a well equipped car in it`s basic version ( pop). Maybe thats why it is a bit more expensive here......

Unfortunately you are correct, it does not come as standard on a basic pop unless you spec the colour coded mirrors as extra. It says in the handbook as I was considering bit but decided I could live without it. x
