iphone pairing problem after firmware update

hi everyone

im hoping someone can help me with my problem, i bought my iphone a few months back and had no problems pairing the phone and downloading the phonebook from the phone, however i just recently updated the iphone software which meant i had to pair the phone again but it fails to download the phonebook telling me the phone list is empty, i have went into the settings menu and user data and the voice telling me that phonebook is being download comes on but when i tried the phonebook again afterwards the voice keeps telling me the list is empty. Any ideas what the problem is or how can i add contact individually from the car menu???

iphone 2.0 firmware is sadly the culprit here...

Unless an update is made available for Blue&Me that can be uploaded to existing units, this problem will become more and more common

hey just wanted to let any fellow iphone users that the new update of firmware 2.2 for the iphone has fixed the phonebook problem, now i can use the blue&me and voice command to call people in my phonebook again. Lets just hope it continues with further iphone updates in the future!!!!

Yep, looks like 2.2 fixed it though it does copy them slightly strangely over to the B&M (have a look in "Phonebook" on your 500's menus).

For ref., mines a 3G.
