Head Unit display

Can one of you lucky people who already have their 500 answer the following question for me :-

When playing your i-pod, mp3 etc through the usb socket what comes up on the head unit display, is it the artist, song etc or just aux or something similar.

Mine just says "MEDIA" on the head unit???? How do I get it to display the song title?

Mine just says "Media player" but the dash says, artist, album and song name

Mine only displays the "Media....." on the head unit, the instrument display shows the track name.

I have spotted an option in the head unit menu for display tag, but this changes the instrument display. So how do you do the head unit one??

My only other gripe about blue&me and the stereo system is the passenger can't control previous or next track from the head unit (i can't remember if they can change the volume). So is this the same for everyone??
