I've just checked the site, looks very good. Lots for kids to amuse themselves (and not trying to play in our cars ) so I think its well worth the £8 There is similar type of thing in Alice Holt near Farnham, the parking is cheaper (I think is £2) but there is less to do than in Moors Valley...

OK then, confirmed & final date is the 20th September.

Venue to be confirmed but will likely be in the New Forest area..

Hey Mark,

Count my Bambino and I in on this one! It would be great to meet in the new forest as its only a short ferry ride away!!

Regards
Shaggy

Just remembered this place too, could be an idea... Paultons Park family theme park offers a family day out in the New Forest with over 50 attractions and rides included in the price

Picnic or BBQ and gentle exercise (in terms of chucking freezby or ball around) and some nice conversation (not ALL about ours cars ) is more up my street. And the costs are considerably more...What others think?

Another idea is there is a playing field/cricket lawn outside the Balmer Lawn Hotel, there is parking & a stream for the kids to fish with there nets in.

Copy this postcode SO42 7ZB into here Web browser and Live Maps are incompatible

Nice stream side setting too.

Mark, do you think you could change the title as some people might actually think that the meet is in August (when it is actually agreed as late September) and not click on the thread at all and maybe miss out on the meet? Or is it Paul's department?
