Boldon 24th May

I have just driven 92 miles, in 1 hour 45 mins and used a quater of a tank of diesel to find that Nuova Shop were a no show at Boldon.

I must say this is rather dissapointing as the company (and lads) have seemed so nice and friendly on here and I was looking forward to the day out and possibly buying some things. I just feel it would have been courtesy to inform us that is wasnt on (not even cancelled) just appears it was never really properly arranged. I am sure Miss Bently will inform use as she was the one who went into vSport and spoke to the lads.

On the plus side, I got to meet Miss Bently and her husband and we had a lovely chat and took some pics (outside vSport) which should be posted on here soon. The first official North East Fiat 500 meeting, although there was only two of us.lol! x

I was disappointed that Nuova500 Shop didn't show up but at least I only live a few minutes away and not 92 miles.

I asked what had happened while I was at vSport and apparently they weren't told a lot, a phone call a few weeks ago asking if they'd be interested, they confirmed and then nothing else and a no show today.

I wonder if anyone else knows why the event was advertised by Nuova500 Shop and then nobody from there let us know that they wouldn't be there or even posted on here that there were any problems.

I was also going looking to buy products, in particular to see the bespoke luggage before I decided what I would order and finally handed over a deposit.

Unfortunately I missed the "North East meet" as well but I'm sure it will be the first of more to come.

I think that is pretty much what vSport told Miss Bently. So I wonder why they didnt turn up then. I am sure we will hear some time soon. Still a bit too late for all of the people that turned up not a very good first impression. I am not sure if I would go out of my way to go to one of there road shows in the future, will see though. x

Pleased I didn't waste part of my weekend then!!

Maybe Newcastle is just too far North!! Lets Hope not and that they can re-schedule and be a bit better in their communication

Yep - also not very pleased. I only decided to go as a last minute thing as we had a lot to do at our house this weekend. It sounded very disorganised and the poor lads at Vsport had to pick up the pieces.

Whilst I didn't travel quite as far as Bexx, it was a 75 mile round trip for nothing. I had already picked out a few things from their site that I wanted to buy.

Never mind I met Bexx and we took some good photos. I am going to try to attach one, if not I will need to wait till my technical expert is free!

Nope - technical expert needed - watch this space.

Our utmost apologies to the two people who turned up at East Boldon who hadnt got the message it was postponed. Basically I had some personal bad news that meant I couldnt make the trip up on the Friday which I found out late Friday and hastily asked someone to log into the mail system and send out an email to whoever they could find who had sent an enquiry about the Newcastle day.

They sent out a few emails to people and either you didn't receive it , or as in one case we know, it went to your trash can as one person who luckily rang us before setting off found out or we didnt have your email address.

Dave at VSport didn't know either for some reason although he didnt contact us when you turned up otherwise we would have talked to you over the phone and relayed our apologies. It was first organised with them back in February!

As you can imagine we don't turn away customers lightly nor do we like letting people down (I think most people realise we go quite a way out to help) so we are really sorry.

This is the first time I have managed to get logged onto here as well for a number of days otherwise I would have put this on earlier.

Again, really sorry you didnt know it had been postponed. I hadn't been onto here for a number of days and was downloading emails from a remote logon and simply couldnt do anything much else other than email the people who we knew had asked us about it via email - and one of the biggest problems we have is that its difficult to match email addresses / names to forum logon id's!

I am not making excuses in hindsight I should have got the lady I had emailing people to log onto here and put a post

Thankyou for the apology. I understand that sometimes things crop up that are unavoidable. Perhaps even to put a message on your own site might have been a good idea as there was nothing on there saying it was cancelled either.

The pics are really good Miss Bently both cars look nice and shiney. I particularly like the one with the reflection of my wheel in your car. Perhaps if you could put a couple of them onto the Fiat 500 North East to mark our first meeting (if possible), hopefully one of many to come. x
