Default Road Trip. Silverstone to Nurburgring 09

Hello,

I was wondering if any of the 500 owners out there would be interested in a trip to the Nurburgring next summer? I know its a while off but these things take planning!

Basically i have run events like this before for Classic minis, so have everything in place to cover a booking for 500's, as well as the contacts for the ferry's, hotels, etc.

What we would be looking at is a week long event involving laps at Silverstone and the Ring itself.

The event would be run on a similar basis to the Silver Ring Rally, in that it would be a family orientated event, involving camping at the Ring itself.

What i am after at the moment is some numbers regarding those who are interested.

Cheers
Dev

would be looking to go early august or maybe late july.

We would be doing an all in cost so you would get ferry, hotels, camping and a parade lap at each venue in the cost.
Costs TBC.

Well what i mean by laps of the Ring, is you would get a parade lap in on the total cost then all other laps are up to you to fund.

Its a fantastic place, the buzz after a lap is well, not sure words can describe.

I am taking my 500 there on 31/7/08 so will post some pics when i get back.

Ok, i'm back the 500 ran very well.

I calculated exactly what i spent including meals and fuel and it came to GBP710! which for two adults i think is very good.

We can run this two ways if people are interested:-

1 - Stay on Campsite

2 - Stay at local hotels

now obv. the local hotels is going to be more expensive however, but the camping side has been done before and can be done on a serious budget.

Let me know if anyone is still up for it and i will look in to organising it.
