Default Fiat Club GB 60th Birthday Party 28/6/08

Is anyone aware of the Fiat Club's 60th birthday party? It's on Sunday 28th June '08 at the National Motor Centre, Gaydon, Warwickshire. Entry is free if you're in a Fiat. C'mon let's see how many New 500s we can get there!

That's a good price too!

What's planned for the day?

Not much onfo on the Heritage Motor Centre site
Heritage Motor Centre - Happy birthday Fiat Motor Club

What normally happens at the Fiat 'events' at Gaydon?
Are there Fiat related trade stands?

Do Fiat UK themselves have new cars there?
Better still do Fiat have knowledgeable people there to answer questions?

Latest 500 related rumour (and the nearest I can find to a news item)
is that Auto stop/start will be on all 500s in the next year to 18 months?
Fiat: Start-Stopp für alle Auto + Produkte bei auto motor und sport

<FORD sometimes use events like this to show off Ford cars not seen before
to an audience they know will say kind things - do FIAT use these events for
similar purposes?

(I presume the chances of Fiat having an Abarth at this event are about ZERO?)

Did anyone from here go? we went along in the afternoon, there were three other new 500s, two white and a red one plus the two from Nuova 500 shop.

We forgot our camera so can't post any pictures.

Felt a bit sorry for the club really as I didn't think the turnout was that fantastic but there were some very nice cars on show and my little boy loved seeing more 'Bellas'

I went! Mine was the white 500 Sport with the red brakes near where you parked. It was good to see such a good turnout of New 500s, shame the Fiat Club turnout was so low, some nice cars there though.

Cool! I was drooling (not literally) over your red calipers and rings on your wheels...... looked really nice
