NF500 to attend Frankfurt International Motor Show
September 4th, 2007In one weeks time we will be at the IAA in Frankfurt, where we will be taking snaps and looking over the new Fiat 500 as it makes its international motor show début.
We will be attending the show on the first press day, 11th September, and will upload as many photos, videos and any other information we can gather as soon as possible on the 11th and 12th.
Unfortunately we will only be making a fleeting visit to the show, but if you have anything specific you would like us to try and discover then let us know by commenting here, or asking in the NF500 forums.

I’ve got a few questions that you may be able to answer already or find out at the show:
The 1.4 Sport has a sport button. If “Sport” is active when I park the car and leave it, will it still be active when I return to the vehicle and start the engine?
Is a black 500 metallic or solid black?
When are the Stop/Start engines going to be available?
Any Abarth news?

The black colour is solid black

Does the Popular version have a height adjustable driver’s seat?
Can you get the Lounge version without a sunroof?
Otherwise just general info required I think relating to Uk launch.
When we get them (is Feb 07 definate or still just a guess) which versions do we get at launch, prices etc for 500, the ‘Ford’ version of the car and any other 500 derivatives planned for the UK?
We assume we get the abarth in UK and in RHD but is that definate yet?

Apparently there’s a whole section of the Fiat stand devoted to the 500 including a giant merry-go-round type thingy and a ‘5:1 size 500′ .
(P.S. Just to be awkward I think the crossover black colour is a metallic black Jase.
It’s listed under the ‘coloris metallises’ section in the French colour blurb. )

OK folks, well I’m off Tomorrow and I will do my best to find out what I can.
Time will be tight, but I’ll try and spend as much time as I can poking around the Fiat 500 area of the show.
